Family motel, the Cleveland has 31 apartments and almost 2 acres of spacious grounds with lawns and a garden, Cleveland Motel is 1.3 km from Rotorua City Centre. It offers BBQ facilities, free Wi-Fi and free parking on site.

Thermally heated in winter and cooled with air conditioners in summer, all our apartments feathure 42-inch flat-screen TV with all the Freeview channels.

A self-service laundry is available. The staff at the tour desk can assist with making touring arrangements around the Rotorua area. Continental breakfast is available upon request.

The Cleveland is 500 m from Lake Rotorua, and 13 km from the Rotorua Regional Airport. It is a 29-minute drive from Wai-O-Tapu Thermal Wonderland, a 12-minute drive from Whakarewarewa Thermal Village, and 5-minute drive from the Polynesian Spa Thermal Hot Pools. Central location and close to most of the popular attractions & activities. Convenience shops across the road.

Studio Units
Our spacious Studio apartments offer a warm, welcoming space with generous open-plan living area. They contain one queen and one single bed as well as kitchen facilities in a separate area. A separate bathroom features a geo-thermally heated shower. Apartments are toasty warm in winter.

Two Bedroom
Our spacious and refurbished two bedroom apartments are ideal for families or couples travelling together. Two Bedroom apartments come with a master bedroom with one queen & one single bed, and the same in the second bedroom. Two Bedroom apartments have a generous open-plan living area, separate kitchen with full cooking facilities and a shared bathroom features a geo-thermally shower (towels provided).

Cleveland Cottage
One of our most popular and recent additions is the Cleveland Cottage! The Cottage is a warm and welcoming space to share with family or friends. It features brand new furnishings, new bathroom and kitchen and is fully insulated. The Cottage has 3 bedrooms, an open plan lounge, dining & kitchen and it sleeps 7 to 8 guests in 4 star comfort. It is located close to the city centre, popular restaurants and most major attractions. Plenty of room for everyone, it has a total area of 90 square meters and its own private grounds. Up to four private cars can park on site. Cottage guests are welcome to use the motel’s heated outdoor swimming pool and two indoor mineral pools.

Large Family 2-Bedroom Apartment
Very popular with families or groups of 6 to 8 persons this cosy apartment has 1 queen bed & 1 single bed in the master bedroom and 1 x queen bed & 1 x single bed in the second bedroom. The open plan living area has 2 comfy sofas and 2 single beds and a kitchen with full cooking facilities.

Pool View 2-Bedroom Apartment
This is our personal favourite and is the only apartment with both a front and a back door. A few steps out of the back door takes you to the swimming pool. The great layout of this apartment is further enhanced as it gets both morning & afternoon sun. The master bedroom has a queen bed and the second bedroom has 2 single beds. Both rooms have heaps of cupboard space just in case you are planning a long stay.
