At breakfast time the accent is on fresh flavours, using the best local produce available, where possible organic, spray free and free range.

The indoor heated pool, spa and gym is accessible by an internal staircase that also leads to the upstairs, our breakfast room is in the conservatory and there is a sundeck from where you can enjoy fantastic sea views over the Bay of Islands and Russell.

Due to the design of our building the chalet is not suitable for guests with walking disabilities.

We welcome children over the age of 14 years.

Romantica Suite
Top floor ‘Romantica Suite’ is a large spacious open plan mini-suite with super king bed, comfortable lounge sofa with colourful artwork of local artists forming a cosy seating area and for small intimate meals the service kitchen is equipped with a microwave.

The BellaVista Room
The Bellavista Room’ is a light and sunny room offering magnificent views over the Bay. with spacious balcony and beautiful outdoor furniture for guests to enjoy the breathtaking vista and our sunrises.With a beautifully designed private bathroom that features a spacious shower, under floor heating, hairdryer/straightener, large fluffy towels, Bathrobes and New Zealand natural toiletries.

The Bellevue Suite
Bellevue Suite is a beautifully designed One-Bedroom apartment. The master bedroom has a super king-size bed that can be made into two single beds, there is plenty of wardrobe space, a personal safe and an en-suite with a spacious shower & toilet. Part of the lounge is a fully equipped kitchen with ceramic hotplates & microwave. and stylish glass & dinner ware. Adjacent to the dining area is the lounge with lovely colourful artwork, a comfortable sofa, Plasma TV and DVD player & iPod dock. The sofa can fold into a double bed and could sleep an extra person.

All upper floor rooms have a sunny balcony that offer fantastic views over the Bay of Islands. Modern & stylish outdoor furniture and lounger are there for extra comfort.

The Retreat
The Retreat is a lovely B&B room on the ground floor with en-suite with views over the valley towards the lush green hills of Paihia. It features a luxurious queen size bed and a patio which catches the sun all morning. Outdoor chairs and table and your own private parking & entrance adds to the convenience of The Retreat.
